Refund policy

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

To start a return, you can contact us at justdoorsqld@outlook.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent back to us 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Refunds are only available in accordance with clauses 9 and 10 concerning defective or damaged goods.

You are required to inspect the goods immediately upon receipt. If you notice any damage to your goods, please notify the delivery driver immediately at the time of delivery.

If damage is noticed after delivery, you must contact us within 24 hours from the time of delivery. You are required to provide at least 3 photos showing the original packaging and 3 photos showing the damage to the product for our assessment. Damage claims made after this 24-hour period cannot be accepted, as we cannot verify when or how the damage occurred. You must retain the goods in the condition in which they were received and not attempt any repairs or modifications.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), our doors are all

special order products, We also do not accept returns

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Terms and conditions

1 Warranty -Just doors qld obligation
* Subject to the terms and conditions set out below, items supplied by Just doors qld are guaranteed by the manufacturer to be of good material and workmanship, free from defects which render them unserviceable or unfit for the use for which they were manufactured. The warranty period for each item is listed in Part
* If Just doors qld agrees, in its absolute discretion, that an item or part of an item is defective in breach of this warranty, Just doors qld will repair the defect, or, at its option, replace the item or part of the item. Replacement items or parts of items are supplied unfinished and are warranted remainder of the warranty of the original
* Just doors qld warrants that any services supplied to you are performed with reasonable care and agrees, it its absolute discretion, that any services have been performed unsatisfactorily in breach of this warranty, Just doors qld will supply those services again or pay the cost of having those services supplied

2 Warranty - Customer obligation
* As soon as items are delivered, you must examine them for noticeable defects and inform just doors qld of any broken glass or Any other defects apparent on delivery within 24 hours of the items being fitted. Entrance doors should be hung in weather protected areas as per Manufacturer Warranty Guide
* You must preserve as far as possible for just doors qld inspection, items that you claim do not comply with the Just doors qld warranty and return those items to just doors qld promptly at no cost to Just doors qld
* All doors Immediately after fitting must be sealed on all faces and edges with at least 2 coats of sealing paint or vanish to prevent undue absorption of moisture. Stain, primer and undercoats are not acceptable as sealing
* You must do regular maintenance of the items. In particular, you must examine exterior doors directly exposed to weather regularly and refinish them as necessary to keep in good working order

2A*solid core meranti timber doors (also known as engineered doors, with fine grade veneer finish) come with 2 year manufactures warranty, starts from purchase date, receipt of purchase required for warranty claim 

2B*solid Meranti Timber doors (solid Meranti joinery doors) come with a 2 year manufactures warranty, starts from purchase date, receipt of purchase required for warranty claim

2C*Fibreglass (composite) doors all come with 10 year manufactures warranty and can be installed in exposed areas, Dark colour doors will require overhead protection as per manufactures guide line
* You must not repair or replace any item without the prior written consent of Just doors qld or the manufacturer otherwise Just doors qld will not be liable to reimbursement

2D* Handles and locks 

3- Limitation of Liability
* Subject to clause 3.2, clause 1 sets out the full extent of Just doors qld obligations and liability to you with the respect to the items and services supplied to you and all other liabilities, warranties, conditions or terms whether express or implied by statute or general law are expressly
* Just doors qld does not exclude, restrict or modify any statutory right you have or statutory liability of Just doors qld which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified or except to a limited extent, including rights and liabilities under Part V of the Trade Practices Act, 1974 (Cth) or corresponding State legislation .However, where such statutory rights and liabilities apply, to the extent to which Just doors qld is entitled to limit its liability or your rights, your rights and Just doors qld liability are limited at just doors qld option to:
* In the case of goods, any or more of the following:
* The replacement of the goods or supply of equivalent goods;
* The repair of the goods or supply or equivalent goods;
* The repair of the goods;
* The payment of the cost of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods; or
* The payment of the cost of having the goods repaired; and
3.2.1.5.1 In the case of services: Supplying the service again, or The payment of the cost of having the service supplied again.
* Just doors qld does not warrant that the items are fit for any particular purpose or intended use by you and you must satisfy yourself that the items are so
* Just doors qld will not be liable under the Just doors qld warranty unless you satisfy Just doors qld that you have complied with the obligations set out in clause 2 and any instructions of Just doors qld relating to the items or services.
* Just doors qld accepts no liability to damage to any item fitted in damp, moist or freshly plastered areas
* As variations in colour, grain and texture are characteristics of timber, they are not considered to be defects and Just doors qld accepts no liability for colour or grain matching

3.1-weathering 

* As minor shrinkage and swelling of components, particularly raised panels, are characteristics of wood, they are not considered defects and Just doors qld accepts no liability

*constant ongoing maintenance (staining or painting) is required to keep all newly exposed areas covered from weathering during this period which we call SETTLING IN 

*On ALL solid timber door options especially solid meranti & merbau timber doors, weathering is a natural process. This process can cause the timber to shrink, crack & split (hairline cracks & splits can apear) this is to be expected within the first few months after installation as the timber is still weathering within this period. As this is the nature of solid timber, these occurrences are not covered under warranty unless it impeeds the doors funtionabilty. 

*direct sunlight on all timber doors will void all warranties, even if adequate coverage is in place, solid timber doors shouldn't never receive the suns full direct sunlight 

* Just doors qld accepts no liability for any warp which does not exceed 5mm for doors up to 2100mm x 920mm, 6mm for doors over 2100mm x 920mm and up to 2340mm x 920mm, and 8mm for doors up to 2340mm x 1200mm, being the minimum considered a defect under applicable Australian Standards. Doors in excess of 2340mm x 1200mm are not guaranteed against warp. The term warp refers to distortion within the door itself, not in relation to the jambs or frame in which it is attached
* Just doors qld warranty does not apply to claims for warp where the door is not hung properly or does not swing freely or for an external door painted in dark colours as per LRV standards
LRV: Door that are light reflective colours (White—LRV approximate 5); are recommended for Entry Doors this will reduce the possibility of the door twisting, warping or bowing due to weather, heat or sunlight. Dark colours may void the Just door qld or manufacturer warranty if their reflective rating is below 50 LRV may not be warrantied. The same colour / stain should be used on all six surfaces to prevent warping
* Where under the Just doors qld warranty an item is to be replaced or repaired, the liability of Just doors qld will be limited to replacement with an unfinished equivalent item to repair to unfinished
* To the extent permitted by law and subject only to any express exceptions contained in the Just doors qld Warranty, Just doors qld will not be liable for physical or financial injury, loss or damage or for consequential loss or damage of any kind arising out of the supply, assembly, installation or operation of the items or the supply of the services or arising out of negligence by Just doors qld or in any way
* Doors that are installed in a fully exposed situation including opening out doors will not be warranted unless there is adequate overhead as per guild.

4-Cancellation of Order
* As Just doors qld starts processing your order promptly after a site measure is completed,a cancellation of the whole or part of you order will cause loss to Just doors qld
* Because of this, if you cancel the whole or part of you order for any reason that is not based on a statutory right or a warranty claim, Just door qld reserves the right to deduct from any refund or credit due to you 15% of the price of the cancelled part of the order
* Refunds will be returned with 21 days
* Just doors qld will accept such a cancellation only if you notify Just doors qld prior to the onsite measure of your door.

4.4- DELUXE made doors can only be cancelled or amended within 24 hours of site measure
* Timber is a natural material and colour, texture and grain variation can occur. These are not considered defects
